Financial assistance extended to 23 organisations

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited has extended financial assistance to 23 organisations engaged in rehabilitation of the disabled children and other social organisations engaged in bringing about well being of the society.
DBBL Managing Director Md Yeasin Ali handed over the payment orders to the representatives of these organisations at a simple ceremony held at the bank's training institute Wednesday.
The donation programme aimed at helping the disabled children with hearing impairment, providing vocational trainings and medical services for the disabled children, establishing of rehabilitation centre for mentally retarded persons, establishing of training centre for improving skill of the poor and disadvantage children and providing financial support for distressed old-aged people and HIV positive children.
In his brief speech, Yeasin Ali stated that Dutch-Bangla Bank carries out humanitarian activities for the overall betterment of the society. The bank always extends its helping hands for the benevolence of the physically and mentally handicapped children of the poor parents.
While exchanging views, the representatives of the organisations lauded the role of DBBL in the fields of social and philanthropic activities, adding that apart from the banking services, the bank is really helpful for the distressed community of the country.
Additional Managing Director AHM Nazmul Quadir, Deputy Managing Director (Operation) KS Tabrez, Deputy Managing Director (Administration) Abul Kashem Md Shirin and Dutch-Bangla Bank Foundation Coordinator Mozammel Hossain Khan also spoke on the occasion.
