Financial Risk Management professional Sajjad Saleh dies

Financial Risk Management professional Sajjad Hassan Saleh (Nintu) has passed away at a Canadian hospital at the age of 47, according to a delayed message received in Dhaka on Monday. When contacted, his relatives said the body of Sajjad Hassan Saleh is being brought to Bangladesh and his namaj-e-janaza will be held after Jum’a prayers on Friday (Aug 21) at Dhanmondi Eidgah Masjid. He will be buried at the Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard in Mirpur. His relatives and close associates in Dhaka said, he was diagnosed with metastatic renal cell carcinoma in May. He was admitted to a hospital in Toronto. He breathed his last at the Toronto hospital on August 12. Sajjad Hassan Saleh, who was the younger among two sons of late Muhammad Saleh, hailing from Shahpur village in Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district, is survived by mother, wife Nafisa Sultana, two minor sons, only brother Mahbub Hassan Saleh, Director General (Europe Wing) of the Foreign Ministry. During his 23 year-long professional career, he worked for Desh Group, Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA), Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), Duncan Brothers (Bangladesh) Ltd., and BRAC EPL in Bangladesh, and the globally renowned Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), according to a news agency.
