Fire at Demra multi-storied building

A devastating fire broke out at a multi-storied building at Konapara under Demra in the city on Thursday evening.
The fire originated from sixth floor of the 11-storey building that houses factories and warehouse of an Energy company, it was learnt.
Later, the fire spread to the entire building.
Some 14 fire fighting units were working to dodge the fire, a duty officer of the Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence, Farhadul Alam, told the FE until filling the report at around 9:30pm.
No casualty was reported and the extent of damages could not be ascertained immediately.
