Fire at Khulna match factory

A fire broke out at a storehouse of a closed match factory in Rupsha area of the city on Tuesday night. Fire service officials said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at the storehouse of ‘Dada Match Factory’, closed since 2010, around 7:30pm. The fire burned down empty matchboxes. On information, four firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze at about 8:30pm, according to a news agency.
