Fire at spinning mill

A fire broke out in a spinning mill at Balibhadra, Ashulia in Savar on Wednesday night, burning down some fabrics. Officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station Sheikh Badrul Alam said the fire originated apparently from a short-circuit at Rangdhanu Spinning Mill in the area around 8:30pm. On information, three firefighting units - two from Ashilia EPZ and another from Ashulia fire station -- rushed in and doused the flame at around 8:45pm, according to a news agency.
