Fire breaks out at Karnaphuli EPZ in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Feb 15: A fire broke out at a shoe factory at Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone on the outskirts of Chittagong city Saturday afternoon. Chittagong Fire Service and Civil Defence Deputy Assistant Director, Mohammad Jasimuddin, said the fire broke out in Sing Sang factory around 12.45 pm. On the other hand, at least 15 shops were gutted in another fire in Mariam Nagar market at Rangunia Upazila in Chittagong early today. — BSS
