Fire breaks out in sandal factory

Fire broke out in a sandal factory at Rayerbagh under Demra thana in the city Tuesday afternoon. Fire Brigade sources said the blaze originated at 4-10pm from electric short circuit in Desh Rubber Factory, which was under lock and key. Some raw materials of the factory were gutted. — UNB
