Fire burns mobil refining factory at Savar

SAVAR, Jan 1 (UNB): A fire that broke out in an unauthorised mobil-refining factory at Narsinghpur Sunday night and burned down valuables.
Fire Brigade sources said the fire originated from an electric short-circuit and soon engulfed Rimon Oil Factory.
Ashulia thana police said the refining factory was set up illegally.
Firefighters from Savar and Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DEPZ) put out the blaze with the help of local people after a frantic effort.
Sources said valuables worth Tk 1.0 million (10 lakh) were gutted in the fire.
