Saturday, 12 April 2014

At last eight shops were gutted by a fire that broke out at Nurnahar Market at Rajbari town early Friday. Local sources said the fire originated from an electric shot circuit at a shop at the market at about 4:30 am and soon engulfed seven other adjoining shops. Being informed, a fire fighting unit rushed in and doused the flame after two hours of frantic efforts. Affected shop owners claimed that the fire burnt down valuables worth Tk 3 million, according to UNB.
