Fire guts cotton mill in Barisal

BARISAL, Sept 21 (UNB): A devastating fire that broke out at Alif-Lam-Mim cotton mill at Gobordhan under Gournadi Upazila here Thursday gutted valuables worth Tk 0.10m (one lakh).
Local people said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at about 1:45 pm and gutted some valuable machines of the mill.
