Fire in spinning mill: Tk 20m valuables damaged

SAVAR, June 4: A devastating fire at a spinning mill in Karnapara area here Monday morning damaged huge valuables worth Tk 20 million (2 crore). Locals said the fire broke out at the storeroom of Ofaz Uddin Spinning Mill at about 7:00 am and soon engulfed the adjacent rooms, burning down huge cloths and a number of machines. - UNB
