Firearm, ammo, Phensidyl recovered

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel seized firearms and ammunitions and a large quantity of drugs in Shibganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj on Saturday. Lieutenant Colonel Abu Zafar Sheikh Mohammad Bazlul Haque, commanding officer of BGB Battalion-9, said on secret information, a team of the border force conducted a drive at Atrashia around 3:00am. As they challenged a gang of smugglers there, they managed to escape leaving a bag behind. Later, the BGB team recovered one pistol, two magazines, six rounds of bullet, and 106 bottles of Phensidyl from the bag, according to UNB.
