Firearm, bullets recovered on C\\\'nawabganj border

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 25 (UNB): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive recovered a firearms, six bullets and two magazines from Singnagar bordering area in Shibganj upazila on Friday.
BGB-9 Battalion Director Lieutenant Colonel Abu Jafar Sheikh Mohamamd Bazlul Haque said a patrol team of BGB recovered the firearm and ammunition lying in an abandoned condition from the main pillar no. 171 within 300 yards of Bangladesh territory around 8:15 pm.
However, none was arrested in this connection.
Besides, another team of BGB recovered 148 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup from Telkupi in the bordering area in the afternoon.
