Firearms, ammo recovered: 3 held

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel arrested three people along with 1 kg gunpowder, two firearms and four rounds of bullet at Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Friday. The arrested are Abdur Razzak Kalu, 20, son of Harunur Rashid of Manakasha village, Ariful Islam, 30, son of Bazlur Rahman of Parchouka, and Insarul, 22, son of Kubir Ali of Garatola village. Being tipped off, a team of Rab-5 conducted a raid at Kaliganj and arrested the three arms traders along with one kg gunpowder, a pistol, a magazine and four rounds of bullet, said the captain of Rab-5. A case was filed, according to UNB.
