Firearms, bullets recovered

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel in a drive recovered single firearms along with two rounds of bullet from a house at Sarsa upazila in Jessore district on Tuesday. 26 BGB commanding officer Lt Col Matiur Rahman said a patrol team of BGB, on a tip-off, conducted raided the house of an alleged arms trader at Batopota village under Benapole union at dead of night and seized the firearms and bullets. However, the owner of the house managed to escape sensing the presence of the law enforcers. A case was filed in this connection, according to UNB.
