Fired army officer arrested with Phensidyl

The police arrested a sacked army officer along with 44 bottles of Indian Phensidyl and cash in the city's Azimpur area Saturday. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Lalbagh police stopped sacked captain Arif Khan as he was approaching his private car parked near Azimpur Police Box around at 1:00pm. The police arrested him under a pending warrant and recovered the money and Phensidyl bottles from his car. — UNB
