First viva of 27th BCS illegal: SC

The Supreme Court (SC) has upheld the High Court judgement that cancelled the first viva voce of 27th BCS exams. The apex court has also disposed of three government leave to appeal, with some observations, against another High Court order that declared illegal the second viva voce. The full bench of the Appellate Division, headed by Chief Justice Mohammad Fazlul Karim, came up with the orders Sunday. The government filed three leave to appeal petitions against a High Court order that had dismissed the second viva voce and had ordered to appoint those who passed
