Fish fries distributed among fish farmers

SHERPUR, Nov 22 (BSS): Department of Fisheries has distributed fish fries free of cost among the flood-affected fish farmers in Sherpur Sadar and Nakla Upazilas recently.
In Sherpur, representative of the joint forces, district fisheries officer Mohammad Kaikobad, Sadar Upazila fisheries officer Anwara Begum and UP chairmen were present on the occasion at the premises of sadar upazila complex.
A total of 517 kg fish fries were distributed among 45 fish farmers of 14 unions under sadar upazila.
590 kg fish fries were distributed among 59 fish farmers of Nakla Upazila.
Nakla UNO Golam Mostafa, representative of the joint forces, upazila fisheries officer SM Abul Bashar, agriculture officer Mohammad Asadullah, livestock officer Jahangir Hossain, fish trader Mozaffar Mohiuddin and UP chairmen were present on the occasion.
