Fish trader murdered in Jessore

Some miscreants tortured to death a fish trader and dumped the body in Jhaudia village in Jessore Sadar Upazila at sometime between Monday night and early Tuesday. The dead is Shahidul Islam, 42, son of Abul Hossain, a resident of the village. Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Jessore Kotwali Police Station, said locals spotted the body Shahidul's body in Jhaudia on Tuesday morning and informed Sajiali police camp. Police recovered the body which bore several injury marks and sent it to Jessore Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he said adding, a case was filed, according to a news agency.
