Fisherman murdered in Sunamganj

Miscreants killed a fisherman and dumped his body in Kawnai River in Dharmapasha Upazila in Sunamganj district at sometimes between Monday night and Tuesday morning. The dead is Elahi Mia, 40, son of Ayat Nur Mia, a resident of Rajpur village in the Upazila. Locals spotted his body and informed police on Tuesday afternoon. Police recovered his body, bearing injury marks, from the Kawnai River and sent it to a local hospital for autopsy. Police believes he was killed by his rivals following a previous enmity, according to a news agency.
