Fishermen attack police in Chandpur

Seven people, including four policemen, have been injured in a clash with fishermen in Chandpur, reports bdnews24.com
The fishermen were fishing in the Meghna River ignoring a two-month fishing embargo, aimed at protecting juvenile and brood hilsa. Three fishermen have been arrested over Friday night's clashes at Haringhat, police say.
Police fired several rounds into the air to take control of the situation.
