Fitra fixed at Tk 66 per head

This year's fitra has been fixed at Tk 66 per head for Dhaka and its adjoining areas. For other parts of the country, the fitra has been fixed at the local market price of 1.650kg of flour or fine flour. The decision was taken at a meeting on fixing Sadkatul fitra in the conference room of the Islamic Foundation Bangladesh Wednesday with DG of Islamic Foundation Hasan Jahangir Alam in the chair. The meeting discussed the prices of flour and fine flour at different markets of the country and fixed the fitra at Tk 66 as per the market price in Dhaka. — UNB
