Five Bangladeshis hurt in Delhi fire

Five Bangladeshi nationals were injured in a devastating fire in New Delhi's Malviya Nagar area that claimed several lives and left many others wounded, the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi said on Wednesday, reports BSS.
In a statement, the High Commission expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident and conveyed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
According to the mission, five Bangladeshi nationals have so far been identified among the injured.
Of them, three are receiving treatment at Max Hospital in Saket, and two others at Safdarjung Hospital.
The Bangladesh High Commission said it is maintaining constant contact with the relevant authorities and closely monitoring the condition and well-being of the injured Bangladeshis.
"Our heartfelt condolences go to all the bereaved families and our sincere sympathy to everyone affected by this tragedy," the mission said.
The High Commission wished the injured a speedy recovery. It commended the rescue and emergency response personnel for their tireless efforts in dealing with the aftermath of the fire.
