Five die in Habiganj crash

At least five passengers were killed and 20 other people injured in Habiganj when a bus and a human hauler (four-wheeler) collided on Saturday. Habiganj Police Station OC Md Nazim Uddin said the accident took place in the Dhuliyakhal area on the Habiganj-Sayestaganj Highway in the morning. The dead are yet to be identified while the injured were rescued and whisked to the Habiganj Sadar Hospital. Md Nazim Uddin said the Sylhet bound bus and the Habiganj bound four-wheeler rammed into each other around 6.30am, leaving three passengers dead on the spot. Two died later on way to the hospital, according to a news agency.
