Five die in Tangail bus-truck collision

At least five people were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Tangail Sadar Upazila on Friday. The deceased could not be identified. Elenga highway police said a truck collided head-on with a Dhaka-bound bus from Bhurungamari Upazila of Rangpur at Gharinda Bypass Intersection on the Dhaka-Tangail Highway, leaving three people killed on the spot and 12 others injured. The injured were taken to Tangail Medical College Hospital where two more victims died later, according to private TV channels.
