Five HC judges sworn in

Five judges of the High Court division of the Supreme Court, who were regularised earlier, took oath Thursday morning. Chief Justice M Muzammel Hossain administered the oath to five HC judges at about 10.30am at the Supreme Court auditorium. The five judges are justice Ashish Ranjan Das, Justice Mahmudul Haq, Justice M Badruzzaman Badal, Justice Jafar Ahmed and Justice Kazi M Ejarul Haq Akand. On June 13, 2012, President Abdul Hamid appointed the five judges as the additional judges of the High Court division for two years. — BSS
