Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel arrested five Indian citizens in Dinajpur district for illegally entering Bangladesh on Saturday afternoon. The five arrested Indians were identified by the BGB as Lichu Roy, 30, son of Mono Roy, his wife Kajoli Roy, 26, and their two daughters Lipi Roy, 5, and Popy Roy, 2, and Lichu’s cousin Shiben Roy, 30, son of Gangu Roy of Kawali village under Tapan Police Station of India’s South Dinajpur district. The BGB men detained them on charge of intrusion trespassing at Hili-Birampur Tempo stand near the border in Hili around 2:00pm when they were going to their relatives’ house in Bangladesh.
