Five killed as bus overturns

DINAJPUR, Dec 30: Five people, including two women, were killed and 25 others injured as a bus overturned at Prembazar in Birganj upazila on Tuesday morning. Four of the deceased were identified as Laila, 18, Shamima, 30, Kurban Ali, 40, and Mohammad Golam Mostafa, 38. The Dinajpur-bound 'Shohagh Enterprise' bus coming from Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district rolled over in the area around 8:30am after its driver lost control over the steering, leaving two passengers dead on the spot and 28 others injured.    — UNB
