BAGERHAT, Nov 28 (UNB): Two people were killed as a three-wheeler
'Nosimon' dashed a stationary truck near Foyla bazaar on Khulna-Mongla highway in Rampal Upazila Sunday early morning The deceased were identified as chickens trader Rouf Mollah (28), and driver of the three-wheeler Siraj Fakir (52), of Maskata village in the upazila.
Highway police said the accident occurred at about 6am when the Khulna bound chickens-laden 'Nosimon' from Mongla hit the standing truck from behind, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
Truck helper killed in crash
Another Report from Barisal adds: A truck helper was killed and eight others were injured in a road accident at Kashipur Banshtala on the outskirts of the city Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Selim (35).
Witnesses said the accident occurred at about 11pm in the area on Dhaka Barisal highway, Locals rescued the injured and admitted them to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where the attending doctor declared Selim dead.
Other injured were identified as Bhola (35), Halim (32), Forkan (26), of Meherpur district and Kajal (50), of Polashpur area of Barisal city.

Our Correspondent from Khulna adds : Two persons were killed in a road accident at near Faylarhat Bazzar on Khulna -Mongla Road Sunday morning.
The deceased are identified as Nosimon driver Shiraj (45) and helper Abdur Rauf (25) of village Mashkata under Fakirhat Upazila of Bagerhat district.
The Police and local sources said a Nosimon (three wheeler) laden with poultry birds was coming towards Khulna from Digraj Mongla, when reached near Faylerhat Bazar under Rampal Upazila of Bagerhat district collided with a standby truck the driver and helper of the Nosimon died on the spot.
