Five killed in separate incidents

Five persons were killed and many others injured in separate incidents in different places of the country during the last two days, report agencies.
In Dhaka city, a young woman was found dead at Tejgaon Adarsha Mahila College, Friday.
The deceased was identified as Fatima, wife of rickshaw-puller Ashraf Ali, of Battala Sher-e-Banglanagar area.
Police said a group of garment workers on their way home found the body of Fatima lying on the ground in front of the college at about 1am and called the police.
Later police recovered the body that bore several stab injury marks, and sent it to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed with the Tejgaon thana.
In Comilla, a motorcyclist was crushed under the wheels of a lorry at Kamalapur in Sadar Dakkhin Upazila on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway here Friday morning.
In Bagerhat, a woman was slaughtered by miscreants at Boga village in Kochua Upazila here Thursday night.
In Jhalakati, a schoolgirl was electrocuted at Premhar village in Nalchhiti Upazila Thursday afternoon.
In Pabna, a woman, injured in an attack by her cousin at Darikamalpur village in Sadar Upazila, died at Pabna General Hospital Wednesday.
