Five more arrested, DANIDA official yet to be rescued

BANDARBAN, July 1 (UNB): Project coordinator Masuram Master, suspected mastermind of June 26 kidnap of DANIDA project official and four others were arrested Sunday.
Kidnapped Hossain Shahid Sumon could not be rescued till Sunday evening.
Security officials keeping track of the kidnappers said they were hiding in deep forest somewhere near Modak border outpost of Thansi Upazila.
Additional security forces rushed to Modak have cordoned off the area with the hope of rescuing Sumon shortly.
Sources close to the security forces said most wanted Masuram Master and four others suspected involved in aiding abduction of Sumon by masked tribal gunmen were arrested Sunday.
With them 20 people were held in connection with the abduction.
They were undergoing interrogation at Bolipara BDR outpost.
