Five more children died of measles-like symptoms in the past 24 hours until 8:00 am on Monday, according to the health authorities.
With the latest daily tally, the total fatalities from measles and measles-like symptoms rose to 825 since March 15 last.
Of the total fatalities, 95 were confirmed as measles cases, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its daily bulletin.
Meanwhile, as many as 992 suspected and 113 confirmed measles infections were recorded in the past 24 hours.
With these, the total suspected measles infections rose to 124,745 and confirmed infections to 15,555 since mid-March.
Meanwhile, dengue claimed one more life in the past 24 hours until Monday morning, taking the total death tolls due to dengue rose to 44.
