Five more clubs complete registration formalities

Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) completed registration formalities of 21 players Friday, marking the end 36-day inter-club players transfer for the 2nd B League (Professional Football League), reports UNB.
The black and white Motijheel outfit recruited defender Jewel Rana (Brothers Union Club), and custodian Aminul Haque, defender Rajoni Kanta Barman, defender Hasan Al Mamun and medio Arman Aziz from Muktijoddha Sangsad KC.
Soon after joining the new club, defender Hasan Al Mamun seemed very hopeful about the team's success in the upcoming league.
He said that their team comprised some young and experienced players and they expect to clinch the B League title.
Earlier, in the 1st B League, MSC finished runners-up behind Abahani Limited.
Brothers Union Club also took part in the registration formalities on the last day today recruiting 22 players.
Defender Atiqur Rahman Mishu (Sheikh Russell KC), medios Motiur Munna (Muktijoddha Sangsad KC) and Abdullah Pervez (Abahani Limited) enrolled their names for the all-orange Gopibagh outfit, which finished 5th in the inaugural B League.
Brothers Union manager Amer Khan expressed his confidence about his young team, saying, "My team is the best as local team." He informed that they are also trying to recruit three foreign players for the team.
Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, which finished 4th in the 1st B League, formed a medium standard team recruiting 20 players on the last day.
The freedom fighters team confirmed the services of their old players - winger Firoz Mahmud Hosain Titu and forward Rokonuzzaman Kanchon.
Talking to the reporters today, Titu said that their target in the B League would be to do as best as possible.
He said it would not be prudent to think of the top slot in the B League with the medium standard team.
Chittagong Abahani and Rahamatganj MFS also took part in the registration formalities Friday both recruiting 21 players each.
Earlier, giants Abahani Limited, Sheikh Russell KC, Arambagh KS, Chittagong Mohammedan, Farashganj SC and Youngmen's Club Fakirerpool completed their registration formalities.
