Five officials promoted to secretaries

The government promoted five officials to the rank of secretary.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification on Sunday in this regard, reports UNB.
The promoted officers are Muhammad Alkama Siddiqui, chief executive officer (acting secretary) of Public Private Partnership Authority; Dr Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, acting cultural affairs secretary; Ashok Kumar Biswas, acting posts and telecommunications secretary; Abul Kalam Azad, acting member (acting secretary) of the Planning Commission; and MD Faruque Hossain, executive chairman (acting secretary) of the National Skills Development Authority.
They have been attached to the Public Administration Ministry for their next postings, the notification said.
