Five Shibir men arrested in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Aug. 14 (BSS): Chittagong district police in drives arrested five leaders and activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir from Demsha union of Satkania upazila on Friday morning.
The arrested were identified as Liakat Ali (23), Mohammad Faruk (19), Saiful Islam (25), Mohammad Arafat (24) and Moinul Islam (26), all hailing from Demsha union of Satkania upazila in the district.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Satkaina thana Farid Uddin Khondaker said police arrested them from a local Mosque when they gathered there for holding a meeting at 7:00 am on Friday.
Police recovered some jehadi books and anti-state leaflets from their possession.
