Fix spots for makeshift cattle markets: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed the authorities concerned to take necessary steps to chalk out a plan for fixing convenient spots to set up makeshift cattle markets as well as delimit the slaughtering zones ahead of the next Eid-ul-Azha. The PM’s directive was conveyed at a meeting held with the Local Government Division (LGD) Secretary Abdul Malek at the LGD headquarters.Senior officials of all the city corporations were present at the meeting, according to a news agency.
