Floating people to get Tk 50,000 loan with 6pc interest

Each of the floating people, willing to return to their villages, can now get up to Tk 50,000 in loan with a maximum 6 per cent interest per annum. This is part of the government’s initiative to send the uprooted population back home from the cities and towns. Bangladesh Bank Governor Atiur Rahman said the amount of loan would be increased in future, according to a news agency.
