\\\'Flourishing dairy sector changing rural economy\\\'

Speakers at a training course have said the flourishing dairy sector has been changing rural economy and meeting nutritional demand of the growing population in building a healthier nation. They stressed for increasing cow milk production through disseminating and popularising the latest dairy technologies among the rural farmers and enhancing marketing facilities to boost the respectful sector in rural areas. Kawnia Upazila of Rangpur district Livestock Department organised the daylong training course on dairy at its hall room under the Integrated Agriculture Productivity Project for strengthening of the dairy value chain. Kawnia Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdul Motaleb Sarker in the chair, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Manjit Kumar Sarker and Veterinary Surgeon Dr Al Mamun conducted different sessions of the daylong training course on dairy, according to BSS.
