Flyover will be built on Dhaka-Ctg Highway: Kamal

Planning Minister AHM Mostofa Kamal on Sunday said a flyover will be built on four-lane Dhaka-Chittagong highway under Public Private Partnership. The government also plans to build a sub-way in Dhaka Metropolitan city, he told reporters at a meet-the-press programme at the NEC conference room in city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. The minister said that 67 per cent of ECNEC-approved 203 projects worth Tk 1205.29 billion for 2013-14 have been completed. He said allocation for the remaining projects will be used within June. Kamal said new projects will be taken considering public demand and capacity for implementation, according to a news agency.
