FM flies to Delhi today to attend 3rd JCC meet

Foreign Minister (FM) AH Mahmood Ali leaves Dhaka for New Delhi today( Thursday) morning on a four-day visit to attend the third Bangladesh-India Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting, reports UNB.
Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will lead the Indian side while her Bangladesh counterpart the Bangladesh delegation to the JCC.
Various issues of bilateral importance, including two major pending issues - ratification of Land Boundary Agreement (LBA) and Teesta water sharing deal-will come up for discussions at the JCC to be held on September 20.
During the visit, the Foreign Minister will also meet Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Indian dignitaries.
