FM lauds int\\\'l community\\\'s support for BD\\\'s dev

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali has said Bangladesh has reached the present level of development overcoming various ‘odds’ and ‘challenges’, and appreciated the international community’s support for the country’s development. In the last four decades since independence, Bangladesh has achieved steady economic growth and accompanied sustained progress in social development,’ the Foreign Minister said this while addressing a function on the occasion of French National Day in the city. ‘We’ve reached the present level of development against various odds and challenges and have faced global financial uncertainties resolutely,’ he said mentioning that during this journey the support from the international community, particularly from France, has always been a major strength,’ according to a news agency.
