FM Neer shares 2nd position

Fide Master (FM) Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh shared the second slot in the boys U-18 group of the 25th Asian Youth Chess Championships, with two other players securing 4.5 points after the sixth round matches held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, on Monday, reports UNB.
After the sixth round of matches, Bangladeshi players WCM Warsia Khusbu earned 3.5 points, while CM Md Azmaeen Pervez Sayor (Boys U-16 Group), WFM Wadifa Ahmed (Girls U-16 Group), Tasfiqur Rahman (Boys U-8 Group), and Warisa Haider (Girls U-8 Group) scored three points each.
Besides, Syed Ridwan (Boys U-16 Group), Kazi Afsan Rawank Anan (Boys U-14 Group), Oitijja Barua (Boys U-10 Group), and Muhtadi Tajwar Nasheed (Boys U-10 Group) scored 2.5 points each, while Sidratul Muntaha scored two points playing six matches.
In Monday's sixth of round matches, FM Manon Reja Neer beat FM Plyasunov Daniil of Russia, Syed Ridwan beat Combs Noah of Guam, Sidratul Muntaha beat Yagshygeldiyeva Aisha of Turkmenistan, and Kazi Afsan Rawnak Annan drew with Chen Yung Hao of Taipei.
