FM pays tributes to Lee Kuan

Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali paid on Friday rich tributes and his last respect to the founding father and architect of modern Singapore Lee Kuan Yew, according to a foreign office release, reports BSS.
The great leader of modern Singapore Lee died on March 23, 2015 at the age of 91.
The foreign minister paid a short visit to Singapore to pay respect to the mortal remains of Lee, it said.
Mahmood Ali was escorted to National Parliament of Singapore where the casket containing the mortal remains of late Lee Kuan was kept for people to show their last respect.
After paying his respect, the foreign minister signed the condolence book. A large number of foreign dignitaries and people from all walks of life also paid their respect to Lee Kuan Yew.Earlier, Bangladesh High Commissioner in Singapore Mahbub-Uz-Zaman, Non-Resident High Commissioner (NRHC) of Singapore to Bangladesh Chan Heng Wing, Liew Li Lin and Claudine Xie, assistant directors of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore received Mahmood Ali at Changi International Airport in Singapore.
