FM seeks more British investment

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali has sought increased British investment in Bangladesh’s prospective areas, particularly in garment, shipbuilding, software, ICT, power and pharmaceutical industry. He urged the British investors and businessmen to take advantage of tax holiday, infrastructure, land and other facilities available in various industrial parks in Bangladesh. The Foreign Minister said at a breakfast meeting at the Asia House in London organised by its Business and Policy Programme in London, said a media release. He spoke on ‘Bangladesh Foreign Policy 2014 and Beyond’, according to a news agency.
