Fobana confce to begin on Aug 29

The 28th convention of the Federation of Bangladesh Associations in North America (Fobana), the largest organisation of Bangladeshi expatriates in the USA, will begin on August 29, reports UNB.
The three-day convention 'Fobana Bangladesh Convention New York-2014' will be held at Hotel Laguardia Airport Marriott in New York, organizers told a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club here on Sunday.
This year's slogan of the convention is: 'Let North America be lighted - let there be lighted the new generation - let Bangladesh be lighted'.
