Folklore and Crafts Foundation\\\'s Eid prog enters 2nd day

The three-day programme, organised by Bangladesh Folklore and Crafts Foundation in Sonargaon Upazila in Narayanganj district, entered its 2nd day on Wednesday. The programme was inaugurated on the premises of Bangladesh Folklore and Crafts Foundation in Sonargaon on the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday. The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of auspicious earthen lamp (Mongal Pradip). Director of the Foundation Poet Rabindra Gope inaugurated the programme organised like the previous years with a view to heightening the joys and pleasure of hundreds of local and foreign visitors at the Folklore and Crafts Museum in Sonargaon on the occasion. On Tuesday evening, a poetry recitation session and a folk song session were held at Bangabandhu Mancha there. Popular artists of Bangladesh Television Ainal Huq Baul and Ruby Sarker, among others, rendered folk songs at the function that attracted a large crowd, according to a news agency.
