Food Production Day observed in Mymensingh

MYMENSINGH, Mar 7: Mymensingh Mayor Ikramul Haque Titu has asked household owners in the city to cultivate every inch of unutilised land for growing fruits and vegetables to meet the growing demand of food. He said this while inaugurating the City Food Production Day at Town Hall recently. The project funded by GoB has been undertaken as a part of poverty alleviation under UNDP and the International Development Department (IDD) of the UK government. The day-long programme of the City Food Production Day included rally, discussion meeting and screening of documentary films on agri production.
