Football team leave for Qatar today

Bangladesh national football team will leave Dhaka for Qatar today (Wednesday) to get better training as part of preparation ahead of their international engagements, reports BSS.
The national team is comprised of 24 booters and eight officials.
The SAFF Championship 2018 is scheduled to be held from September 4-15 in Dhaka. The booters will stay in Qatar until March 14 and they will also take part in two preparation matches there.
After returning from Qatar, the boys will go to Thailand on March 19. Apart from training, the booters will also play two preparation matches in Thailand and after that they will set for Laos on Match 25 to play international friendly match against Laos on March 27.
In this regard, a press conference was held on Tuesday at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) to provide all details regarding preparation.
National team head coach Andrew Ord, National team's manager Satyajit Das Rupu, coach Jason Brown and BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Sohag were present on the occasion.
Earlier, the booters started their first phase residency camp with primarily selected 35 players at BKSP in Savar which began on February 13.
