Footpaths to be recovered in phases: Quader

The government has decided to recover footpaths from illegal possession in phases, said Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Sunday. The decision was taken at a road safety council meeting at the ministry's conference room, while state minister for home affairs Asaduzzaman Khan and other high officials concerned were present, according to a news agency.
