For peaceful surroundings

Your recent report titled "No to King's College at Segunbagicha" has prompted me to draw your attention to a letter by me that was published in the July 9, 2009 issue of your newspaper. I wrote in that letter about the Milestone School in Sector 7 of Uttara Residential Area, Dhaka and pointed out what kind of inconveniences the operation of the school is causing the inhabitants of the area.
The authorities obviously never pay any attention to the inconveniences and miseries of our surroundings no matter how much we shout and protest. Should I take it that this kind of daily mental torture has been ordained and written in our fate as a punishment or penalty for living in a country like Bangladesh?
